Ahe

A rare human experience

Ahe is one of the least-visited atolls, yet it offers visitors an incomparable experience:

Its lagoon and heavenly beaches

Ahe offers a dream landscape of fine white sandy beaches and a lagoon that acts as a natural swimming pool. Here you're on an atoll, so there are no mountains or hills, just coconut palms and the sound of the waves.

Simple, authentic accommodation

The program consists exclusively of family-run guesthouses, where you can experience the Polynesian way of life: relaxing by the sea, snorkeling, scuba diving, kayak trips, fishing and visits to pearl farms. The meals on offer will immediately make you feel like a Tahitian: fresh fish, raw fish in coconut milk, taro bread or uru fries...

Ahe, the atoll for you?

A rustic yet authentic experience

With a population of just over 500, Ahe is a dream location for adventurers looking for a choice of islands off the beaten track, where they won't come across any tourists. The atoll is also one of the most difficult to access in Polynesia, making it the perfect choice for a Robinson-style experience, but you'll need a minimum stay to fit it into your itinerary, as internal flights always have the last word on possible departure days. Alone, facing the warm, wild lagoon, you'll experience true Polynesian life, with warm, authentic human contact and a unique relationship with nature.

Ahe has no tour operators, so you live in harmony with your hosts, who will help you discover their daily lives and the environment around you.
